I had the opportunity shoot a series of multiple exposures, which I had never done. Assuming I could do it with a multiple exposure button on the camera, I show up for the shoot only to discover my camera had no such feature. I improvised, and prayed to the photo gods. I metered the scene, divided the reading in thirds, and shot an entire role of film at one-third exposure. Next, I rewound the film, reloaded the camera with the same film, and shot the second part of the image. I did this again for the third part, and to my absolute amazement, it turned out nearly perfect.
