about
Originally from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Matt now lives in Louisville, Kentucky. He has an associate degree in photography from a community college in Harrisburg and a BFA from Millersville University with concentrations in sculpture, graphic design and printmaking. While at Millersville, Matt developed a passion for moldmaking, as well as, the lost-wax method of bronze casting. These two processes continue to inform his work today.
Matt’s work has been featured in numerous juried and group exhibitions across Pennsylvania, as well as in galleries in New Orleans, Louisiana; Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Recently, his work was included in an exhibition at The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art, and he will soon be part of an exhibit at the Kentucky Museum at Western Kentucky University.
